Maslow's Extended Hierarchy of Human Needs

1. What has been the most difficult part in achieving esteem needs?
I would say that the hardest part of achieving my esteem needs is that I am only human that is prone to mistakes and sometimes my “co-humans” forget that I am also like them that will feel multiple emotions. It is just that having a reputation that is good is not easy to have. Other people may judge me, but, I am learning to be nonchalant about it. Also, obtaining knowledge is arduous that I have to undergo a lot of training to be knowledgeable about some things. I am pretty sure that to have knowledge is not to be intelligent above measure. I just have to be sure about the things that concern me. And I should have to be aware of my responsibilities as a citizen of my nation, as a student of the institution where I belong now, as a part of my family, as a friend, and as a servant of God, no matter what circumstances will happen to me.

2. Can transcendence affect your personality?
Yes, because people in nature are self-centered and greedy creations, but by achieving this need we become more open to others and helpful. This is the highest step in the Hierarchy of Human Needs, and that only modifies that our real happiness can be found in going out of our shells and venture out the world by helping other people achieve their goals in life. The feeling of being able to help is so satisfying that you cannot hardly plaster a smile in your face. It is having the feeling that you really have a purpose in this earth. This affects your personality in a good way. You may think that there is a change in your perspective in life, but, the truth is you just overcome your greediness.
